Synopsis:

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don't kill him first, that is.

Disclaimer: I bought this book with my own money out of my own curiosity. What you read here is my honest reaction to it.

5 huge stars.

OH MY GOD. What a piece of awesomeness did I just read?! Holy fudge, this was AMAZING! It has become instantly one of my favorites. The plot is really great, the pace is fast enough. I was like,

ALL THE TIME! Every little thing was perfection. The chemistry between Katy and Daemon was THERE from second one. It was all snarky comebacks stacking up sexy tension between the two of them. The bickering was dead on, I find these kind of love/hate relationships annoying most of the times but the author did such a great job! And Daemon... DAMNYAAAMMMM BOY.

If I could develop a boner I couldnt read this in public... Just sayin'. And you know what's strange about this? That this isnt even an erotica book, there's nothing explicit, Its just a lot of teasing, but like I said, the chemistry was seriously dead on, and the teasing was crazy good. The plot in general is really great too, the pace is, well, perfect, I cant put down another word. I wasnt bored, not for a moment! It was all funny, interesting, amusing.

Im so freaking happy that there are still a bunch of book of these series to be read!
